A non-profit program sponsored by The Athens (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated polishes the diamonds destined to be our future leaders.  Our mission is to prepare young girls to meet the challenges they will face every day.

Bridge to Success champions the successful completion of middle school, a seamless transition to high school, and successful entry into post-secondary programs and beyond to become strong women of the future.

Bridge to Success programs focuses on teaching girls to…

 

  • - communicate their ideas effectively
  • - understand that individual talents and abilities successfully align with inclusiveness
  • - utilize critical thinking and analytical skills

 

  • - recognize their ability to be both strong competitors and collaborators
  • - set realistic goals while understanding the value of determination and perseverance
  • - value volunteerism and philanthropy

 

  • - exercise appropriate etiquette and cultural sensitivity
  • - celebrate, celebrate, celebrate
  • Services to Youth (champions academic success, healthy lifestyles, social awareness, career development, and mentoring needs of youth)

  • The Arts (promotes cultural enrichment emphasizing the performing and visual arts)

  • National Trends and Services (addresses disparities through advocacy, education, and service for communities with an emphasis on financial literacy, governance, economic empowerment, volunteerism, and philanthropy)

  • International Trends (provides experiences to broaden students’ perspectives and understanding of the global society)

  • Health and Human Services (facilitates programs that support the maintenance of good health and the elimination of chronic health disparities in communities of color)
